Commercial / Aircraft Hangar Door Hardware New Construction

With over 40 years in the field, our time-tested sliding hardware proves it can stand up to heavy use - in the most rugged conditions. Leatherneck’s hardware is built to handle repeated use and difficult weather conditions.

Bottom Rollers

Our wheels are machined from solid steel plate for durability and strength. Standard sizes range from 6" to 24" diameters. When required, for larger doors under extreme loads, wheels are machined from carbon steel and treads are flame hardened to a required Brinell hardness. Standard or custom retro-fit.

Bearings are tapered roller type, arranged so that both the vertical loads and the horizontal wind loading will be transmitted from the door through the bearings. The bearings are provided with a dust seal to retain the grease and prevent the entrance of dirt. Axles are equipped with grease fittings for pressure lubrication.

Bottom Roller Brake Assemblies

Our bottom roller can be fitted with a locking brake. This brake is used for locking the door in place at any location in the opening; however, it is not designed to stop the door in motion.

Single Wheel Top Guide

Our Single Wheel Top Guide is a substantial top guide. Designed to handle large wind loading on openings with little deflection. Standard sizes range from 5" diameter to 10" diameter wheels. Special sizes are available upon request. Wheels are solid steel with Oilite bronze bushings for permanent lubrication.

Double Wheel Top Guide

As with our Single Wheel Top Guide, the Double Wheel Top Guide is designed to handle large wind loads. For wide panels (10" or wider). Standard with 6" diameter wheels. Wheel and hole spacing as required. Wheels are equipped with Oilite bronze bushings for permanent lubrication.

Single Angle Top Guide

For straight sliding doors not over 6" thick. Multiple parallel doors are readily guided with minimum superstructure metal. One guide angle per door run. Ideal for use with our 9" or 12" Bottom Rollers. Wheels are equipped with Oilite bronze bushings for permanent lubrication. Also available with rubber bumper stops. Made right or left hand.

I-Beam Top Guide

Our I-Beam Top Guide is designed to allow for slight roof deflection. For doors using at least an 8" channel. Wheel spacing and leg height as required for beam size and deflection. Wheels are equipped with Oilite bronze bushings for permanent lubrication. Load rating based on leg height.

Telescoping Top Guide

For large doors where greater roof deflection is required. Supplied with 4 each horizontal and 4 each vertical rollers. Wheels are equipped with bronze Oilite bushing for permanent lubrication. Units are sized per application. Design assistance available upon request.

I-Beam Trolleys

Our I-Beam Trolleys are designed to be used for very heavy doors where the service conditions are severe, including radiation doors, blast doors and sound proof doors. Precisely machined wheels are equipped with Timken tapered roller bearings supplying a combination radial and thrust load capability for a lifetime of maintenance-free service. Axles are equipped with grease fittings to allow for pressure lubrication. Wheel flanges on trolleys are hardened starting from 3-ton capacity and larger.

Strap Hinges

Our heavy duty industrial Strap Hinges are designed to be used for large wood or metal doors. Quality engineered, we have a hinge for every application. Our standard hinges may be adapted for special applications to meet specific requirement. We use quality ball bearings as a standard, with disc bearings available upon request. Design assistance is also available. Standard finish is black enamel. Able to custom manufacture many different sizes and types.
